He was born in Ankara,Turkey. Studied music (Viola) and ballet in state conservatories of Istanbul(Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts) and Ankara (Hacettepe University).He finished his studies (with scholarship) in John Cranko Schule-Staatliche Ballett Akademie Württemberg,Stuttgart . Danced in Mainz Staatstheater (Germany) and Royal Ballet of Flanders (Belgium) as soloist.. Worked with Sait Sökmen , Menia Martinez , Mauricio Wainrot , Robert Denvers , Jan Fabre , John Wisman ve Xing Peng Wang etc... In 1998 studied in Newyork Film Academy. After his dancing carrier went back to school and gratuated from K.U Leuven NARAFI- LUCA School of Arts in Brussels (Department Cinematography). He got an award of "Special Jury Prize" for his film FLASH in the film festival "Het Grote Ongeduld" in Brussels .The film was also shown in Akbank International Short Film Festival. Worked as freelance cameraman and director for Royal Ballet of Flanders & Belgian TV channels . Moved back to Turkey in july 2010. He gave classes of classical ballet in Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in 2012-13. Apart of being project manager and director in Gaye Sökmen talent agency,he is also working as an actor.
